Revolutionize Your Video Streaming Experience with this Top Chrome Extension: SpeedUp

As the digital era continues to evolve, watching videos online has become an integral part of our lifestyle . Countless online platforms provide a variety of entertainment apps , and getting the best out of them often requires enhancement tools like Chrome extensions . One extension that has stood out in the realm of video streaming service is SpeedUp. This Chrome extension boasts a well-deserved aggregate rating of 4.19 out of 5, offering a unique solution to manage your video watching experience efficiently.

Unlocking the Power of SpeedUp Chrome Extension

This Chrome video capture extension optimizes your time utility by letting you control the speed of videos on all websites.

User-friendly Interface for Seamless Online Engagement

With SpeedUp, you can easily navigate your way around video speed control. Its user-friendly interface allows you to set the desired video speed, which reflects automatically across all your tabs. This feature sets SpeedUp apart from other Chrome extensions, making it one of the best Chrome extensions for both the seasoned and novice internet user.

Impressive User Reviews and Feedback

SpeedUp's high rating is a testament to its performance and reliability. Users have expressed their satisfaction with this amazing extension that works as intended. Rehan Jinta praised SpeedUp for its functionality but suggested the addition of shortcuts for quick speed changes. Ban Nsabin highlighted a minor drawback where the audio may mismatch with the video when the speed is increased. Despite this, many users, including Fallaurac Live, have lauded the extension's compatibility with various online video platforms, although it sometimes struggles with specific video players on certain websites.

Limitations and User Suggestions

Users have also pointed out areas that could use improvement. For instance, Fallaurac Live suggests the ability to block the extension from changing the speed on certain websites or pages. This feature would be especially useful when watching a livestream while watching a sped-up video for a homework assignment. Marco Lodato also reported that clicking on the extension to select the velocity occasionally causes all chrome windows to close. These user suggestions provide valuable insight for potential updates to enhance the user experience.

Conclusion

Amazing extension, works as intended. One suggestion tho, it will be a lot cooler if you added shortcuts because sometimes I need to quickly change the speed. Thnx!

Ban Nsabin

Why is it when I use this the audio starts mismatching with the video if I increase the speed

Ray Belizean

Awesome!

Wasabi Al Mangati

worked on twitch.. loved it

Fallaurac Live

This extension is super helpful and I love it works on a majority of websites but sometimes doesn't work with specific video players on certain websites. A feature someone else mentioned a long time ago that I've also thought would greatly improve this is the ability to block it from changing the speed on certain websites/pages sometimes I'll be watching a livestream at the same time as watching a sped up video for a homework assignment and then the livestream bugs out because its being played fast.

Marco Lodato

Lately the intant i click it in the extension bar to start selecting the velocity it makes the whole chrome whith alla of the windows opened to close instantly. It happened now more than 8 times. The estension has alays been very good im hoping you can fix.

I LOVE IT BUT IT HASN'T THE BUTTON FOR 3x, 4x, etc. if i wana speed a video more than 2.25 then I need to guess en the slider the value and I waste time.

Dropicz

works great for most services, but if you set it up its automatically applied for every website. you cant put a livestream on the left screen with normal speed and a video on the right screen with x2 for example. would be cool if you could set the speed separately for tab/domain/all amazon video player does not work

Great app! Curious if it's on the roadmap for the following: 1) Be able to choose/change the default speed buttons - I sometimes use 3X or 5X to breeze through instructional videos to find a spot in the video but it takes extra clicks to get to above 2.25X 2) Have a keyboard shortcut to quickly change speeds - Youtube has a shortcut and that's super helpful to quickly adjust speeds without clicking above to the extension Thanks!
